"Specials" by Scott Westerfeld

The main characters in this book are Tally, Shay, Fausto, Tachs, Ho, David, and Dr. Cable. The setting where this book took place is Uglyville, New Smoke and Diego. The summary of main events are after Shay and Tally's last operation to become a Special they are now living in the wild looking for any Uglies or Pretties they can make special. Something went wrong and Shay and some others were being operated on to despecialize them. Tally managed to change Dr. Cable. Now she lives in the wild with David. She is free. When I finished the book I was left thinking about was if Tally and David would ever catch up with the others or if they would be on their own from now on. I would recommend it beecause you never knew what was going to happen next. I would rate this book 5 stars. MUST READ!!!!

"Pretties" by Scott Westerfeld

The main characters in this book are Tally, Peris, Shay, Fausto, and Zane. The setting of this book took place in New Pretty Town. The summary of main events is Tally had recently had her transformation to be a pretty. She kept having flashbacks of her life as an ugly. So Tally, Fausto and Zane decided to escape Pretty Town and hopefully meet up with David in the smoke again. They did escape only to be found again by the Specials. Her friend Shay was a Special Special now. Just like Tally was going to be. When I finished the book I was left thinking about how Tally would cope with being a Special, Special, and what will happen to Zane now. I would recommend it You never knew what would happen from chapter to the chapter. I would rate this book 5 stars. MUST READ!!!!

"Uglies" by Scott Westerfeld

The main characters in this book are Tally, Peris, Shay,. The setting of this is New Pretty Town, Garbo Mansion, Uglyville. The summary of the main events is Tally lived in a world of uglies she waited for 16th birthday when she would have an operation to be a pretty. Then she would be with her friend Peris.Tally's new friend Shay doesn't want to change. She would rather risk life on the outside. When I finished the book I was left thinking about how Tally would be after he operation to become pretty and will she lesions brain like everyone else that operation. I would recommed it. You never knew what was going to happen from one page to the next. I would give this book 5 stars. MUST READ!!!!

"Danger After Dark" by Ellie McDonald

The main characters in this are Lily, Sarah, AnaMaria, Kate, Elizabeth, Alex, Annie Winton. The setting of this book is Summary, Indiana. The summary of main events is the Silly Stuff Club needed to find a new place to have their meetings. Then they found a new place to have their meetings at the Old Winston Estate. And the group of girls had found over 70-80,000 dollars in the doctor's medicine bottles. When I finished the book I was left thinking about how the Creative Girls Club ended up working with Annie Winston. Yes I would this book because it is a page- turner and leaves you on a cliffhanger at the end of every chapter. And its a really good book. I would give this book 5 stars. MUST READ!!!!

"The Boy Who Reversed Himself" by William Sleator

The main characters in this book are Omar, Laura, Pete, Arlene, Gigigi, Ramoom. The settings in this book are Laura's house, school, and 4-space. Laura noticed there was something strange about Omar. So, she asked him to take her to 4-space. When Laura and Omar came back to the real world they were reversed. She also met 4-space creatures that she could only see them when she wore the trinocs. What I was left thinking about when I finished the book, was what was going to happen to Gigigi and Ramoom. Yes, I would recommend it to other readers because it is an awesome book, that will keep you on the edge of your seat, always wanting more. This book is also a pageturner, and leaves on a cliffhanger at the end of every chapter. I would also give this book 5 stars because it is an awsome book. MUST READ!!!!

"In Her Sisters Footsteps" by Pam Hanson and Barbara Andrews

The main characters of this book are Louise, Alice, Jane and Salty. The setting for this book is Acorn Hill, PA @ Grace Chapel Inn. The 3 sisters Jane, Louise, and Alice ran an inn. Jane did the cooking and a lot of the other things until she fell and tore a muscle. Her sisters had to take over and do the things Jane ususally did. Especially cook. Thats when Salty came into the picture. At first, the sisters weren't sure about him taking over Janes cooking duties. But after awhile he grew on the sisters and he became part of their family. He was a cook and in the navy when he was younger. He always wanted to own a restarant. After Jane healed he went home and opened one. I would give this book 5 stars. MUST READ!!!!

"Kerosene" by Chris Wooding

The main characters in the book are Cal Sampson, Joel, Abby, and Ben Deerborn. The setting for this book is London. Cal believed that nobody liked him. It made him feel like a loner. So he lights fires to make himself feel better. The last fire could have killed him, but Abby saved him. When I finished the book I was left thinking about what was going to happen to Cal and Abby . Yes, I would recommend it because it keeps you wondering what will happen next. I would give this book 5 stars. MUST READ!!!!
