"Looks" by Madeleine George

Meghan, a morbidly-obese sophomore, spends her school days trying to disappear from the eyes and thoughts of the often cruel high school students and personnel. A master at stealing blank passes from the school secretary, she spends much of the day in the nurse's office or a neglected music room, all the better to avoid the vicious taunts made by the clique of football players who torment her. Meghan is quite successful at maintaining her "invisibility" until a new girl arrives at school. Aimee, a talented poet deep in the denial of an eating disorder, is as thin as Meghan is large. After Meghan sees Aimee being befriended by Cara, a girl who did Meghan a great wrong in the past, she is roused to warn Aimee, even if it means once again opening herself to others. When Aimee is indeed betrayed by Cara, the two plot join together to plot revenge.
George's writing is hypnotic - sparse, elegant, and revealing - drawing the reader into the story of this unlikely pair. The opening scene has one flying through the clouds to finally zero through the school's very walls to witness the characters within, but by the end of the book, one feels as though they have zeroed in on Meghan's and Aimee's very souls. One is left to wonder - is their revenge justified? Will the damage done by past betrayals be healed?
I would rate this book FOUR and a HALF out of five stars.

In a steamy desert where anyone could die of heat stroke, there are plenty of rules, and a killer, they might just live. The lives of the two poor whales are in Koby's hand and there are no rescuers in sight. If Koby doesn't do something quick shell be stranded there herself and the whales would die.

This book was very interesting, but it wasn't a book that really had me focused on it if i had to rate this book it would be 3 out of 5 stars

"Dragon Slipper" Jessica Day George

This story is about a girl named Creel. when Creels aunt suggests that she should sacrifice her niece to the local deadly dragon. Then maybe a Knight-in-shining-armor would come and sweep her off her feet and marry her. Instead of the handsome Knight saving Creel from this magnificent beast, it is Creel who talks her way out of the evil dragon's clutches. And usually the Knight would carry his fair maiden on a noble steed. But that doesn't really happen in this book, Creel has to walk for days on the end seeking her fortune in the King's city with only a little bit of fabric and a small pair of strange slippers.

"Breaking Dawn" by Stephenie Meyer

Breaking Dawn is the fourth book and final book in the Twilight saga. This book like the other three are very good books. Breaking Dawn is my favorite book in the series. In it, Bella has to choose if she wants to remain human and live a long happy human life with Edward, or become immortal and live forever with Edward. Her decision unfolds many consequences. Her life could change forever.

This book, because it is my favorite, I rate it 5 out of 5 stars. Eclipse is full of breathtaking action, suspence, and romance. I absolutly loved this book. I sugest that people read the Twilight series. They all are very good books.

In the book there is a problem with a mysterious killer in Seattle and a vampire is still running around for revenge. Bella's life is still at risk. Bella is put in a very difficult situation. She has to chose between her love for Edward or her friendship with Jacob. Bella doesn't wish to lose either of them. Werewolf or Vampire. Life or death. Bella doesn't know which is which.

I would have to rate this 5 out of 5 stars. This wasn't one of my favorites out of the series but it was a very good book. It was full of suspense and a lot of romance. I couldn't put the book down, it was such a good book.

"New Moon" by Stephenie Meyer

New Moon is the second book in the Twilight saga. I loved this book as much as Twilight. It's a very good book. I didn't like some of the new characters in the book. I didn't like Jacob Black much. Other then that the book was awsome. In it Bella and Edward's daring relationship has put Bella in more trouble then she imagined.
I would have to rate this book a 5 out of 5 stars. New Moon, like Twilight was full of suspence and romance. This book was a page turner for me, I couldn't put it down. I can't wait to read Eclipse, the third book.

Then he meets a girl, named Marisol. They have a lot in common. They become great friends, and they go through some tough times together, but to hear the rest you'll have to read "Hard Love" by Ellen Wittlinger.
If I could rate this book, it would be 5 of 5 stars.

"Eclipse" by Stephenie Meyers

This is the third book in the Twilight saga, and it is my favorite so far. Bella and Edward are still together, but both vampires (Edward, Bella's lover) and were-wolves (Jacob, Bella's best friend) are fighting against an evil vampire, named Victoria. This is the first time they ever get along (the vampires and were-wolves), they are enemies. This book is very exciting, and I would rate it 5 out of 5 stars.

TTYL was such a good book. Angela, Maddie and Zoe are in high school, and the book is of them chatting online, talking about school and other things. It is such a different way of writing, but I think it is very cool! It is a very, very awesome book, and I would rate is 5 out of 5 stars.

"Starclimber" by Kenneth Oppel

Despite my day job (The Librarian) and the fact that I love to read, I usually can't sit still long enough to read for long sessions. I made an exception this weekend when I absolutely tore through "Starclimber", the third of the books in the "Airborn" series. I couldn't put it down!

Reminiscent of the creative vision of Jules Verne, Oppel has created an alternate Earth reality, in which the development of air travel centered around air ships (huge air-filled balloons) rather than airplanes. The culture, dress, and societal norms of the characters seem to be taking place in what would be the 1880s on Earth. The series revolves around the characters of Matt, an eager teen who signs up for any air-related adventure, and Kate, a determined young scientist who also happens to be Matt's romantic interest. In "Starclimber", Matt and Kate are involved in the incredible development of a vessel whose mission is to travel to space. As a slew of exciting and nerve-racking adventures unfold, Matt and Kate try to hide their romance from the other "astralnauts".
The characters are so appealing and expressively portrayed that I felt I was reading about the adventures of old friends. The technology invented on this world is so very different from our own, yet so creatively imagined, one can easily believe in every last bit of it. How can a vessel travel into space in a world that has not developed computers or even jet engines? You'll have to read to find out Oppel's clever solution! And have I mentioned adventures? There are thrills, chills, and suspense on nearly every page.
You can easily jump in to Matt and Kate's world with "Starclimber", or read the two titles previous to this one: "Airborn" and "Skybreaker." There's also a nifty website at: http://www.airborn.ca/starclimber.html.
I'd rate this book FIVE out of five stars - can't wait for the next one!

The Grogan's life was never the same after that. Marley grew quickley and is no longer a cute little puppy. Marley destroys everything no matter what it is. "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyers

Twilight was a splendid book to read. When I was reading it, I could'nt stop, because I needed to find out what was going to happen. I read the book before I saw the movie, and I thought the book was much better.
If I could rate this book, it would be 4 of 5 stars.

Meet Erin Swift who has a crush on a computer geek but popular! Her best friend is on the exact opposite team so sad for Erin. Erin and her friend kind of depart and Erin grow closer to the geeky computer popular kid! She also helps people learn how to use the computer! After some rumors and so on so forth she punches the most dramatic and popular girl in the face and she's one of the not really talkitive girls in middle school! The format of the book is kind of like a web site! i thought it was really cool!!
I'd Rate this 4 of 5 stars got boring at first but gott much better
