"Unwind" by Neal Shusterman

"In a society where unwanted teens are salvaged for their body parts, three runaways fight the system that would 'unwind' them." Three teens, Conner, Risa, and Lev, are all going to be unwound. Conner caused a lot of trouble ad his parents didn't want a child like that in their family. Risa is an orphan, the government doesn't want to pay so much for her to be taken care of. And Lev was signed up to be unwound before birth. In a very unlikely experience all three of the teen meet, and stay together to help one another. In order to live, they must get to their eighteenth birthdays, but with a country that wants every teen unwound from their heads to their toes, eighteen doesn't seem like it's going to happen anytime soon. After being shipped from one safe house to another, they finally get to the graveyard, literally a graveyard for airplanes. In a steamy desert where anyone could die of heat stroke, there are plenty of rules, and a killer, they might just live. Neal Shusterman, author of Everlost, has made the most thrilling, scary, and ominous story of all-time.
